Southside Church of Christ is an “involvement” church with members performing various works that benefit our community in service to our Lord.  We teach that every Christian has gifts assigned by God for His service and each member is encouraged to be at work in His kingdom. 

 

Members are encouraged to examine the different ministries identified on the involvement form and become part of those opportunities that seem a fit for your gifts.  You might even want to branch outside of your comfort zone and become involved in something entirely new.

 

As with any modern day church, there is always a need for those with skills in technology (web maintenance, networking, live streaming).  There are always needs in the area of building and grounds (minor repairs that might be needed on the building or the parsonage, cleanup of the grounds).  We maintain a library needing library workers to catalog and inventory books for checkout,  The Rows of Sharin’ garden is a year-round garden producing vegetables for the community as well as a site for several Boy Scout Eagle Scout Projects.
